Tom has over 20 years’ experience in aviation and banking, with significant experience in all aspects of the economic cycle, from securing new business to workout strategies.

Tom started his career in Bank of Scotland (Ireland) in Corporate Lending followed by roles in debt recovery during its final years.

Prior to joining Formidion, Tom spent 10 years working in the regional aviation sector with Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC), where he held a number of roles, reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer. He was involved in the acquisition of over 100 aircraft and in NAC’s acquisition of two other aircraft leasing companies.

A graduate of University of Limerick, Tom holds a Bachelor of Business Studies degree as well as a Specialist Diploma in Aviation Finance & Leasing.

Tom is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants as well as the Institute of Bankers in Ireland.
